ABOUT

Anup Paul
MFIAP · EFIAP · ARPS · AFIAP
Born in 1954, Anup Paul began his photographic journey in the early 1980s. An instinctive observer of the human condition, he brings to each image a sensitivity to nuance that transforms ordinary moments into enduring works of art.
Over four decades, his work has earned recognition at the highest levels of international photography — from FIAP and PSA Gold Medals to the distinguished title of Master of the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (MFIAP), conferred by UNESCO in 2009 in recognition of his portrait series.
His photographs have been exhibited across Ukraine, Romania, Macau, Spain, Hong Kong, Portugal, Austria, Pakistan, China, Denmark, Italy, Argentina, Scotland, and Poland. He works and lives in Kolkata, India.
